Meals are prepared and provided each weekday at both centers and also delivered throughout Atchison County.
Weekday Meals & Activities
We serve nutritious weekday lunches Monday-Friday at both Atchison Senior Center and Town & Country (Effingham) Senior Center.
When to arrive: Plan to arrive by 11:30 a.m.
Suggested donation for seniors (60+ years old): We suggest a $3 donation per meal.
Meal price (under 59 years old): $6 per meal is required.
Reservations: If you are new to the center, please call 24 hours ahead of lunch so we know to expect you.
Weekday Meal Delivery
Our meal delivery program delivers nutritious meals directly to eligible seniors’ homes Monday through Friday.
How to sign up: Eligibility is determined through the Northeast Kansas Area Agency on Aging (NEKAAA). Please call 785-742-7152 or 1-800-883-2549 to enroll for meal delivery through our location.

When are meals delivered? Every weekday volunteers drive routes through town starting at 7:15 am - 10:30 am
Reservations: If you do not need a meal on a normal delivery day, please call your center as soon as you can to skip your delivery.
